Sensofar Default Plugins extend the core functionality of our metrology software, offering a suite of pre-installed tools designed to streamline measurement workflows, enhance data visualisation, and simplify advanced analysis. These plugins are included with every Sensofar system and provide powerful, out-of-the-box capabilities tailored to meet the needs of precision surface metrology across industries.

Step Height

Used to analyse a single step height present on a surface.

Surface Texture Profile

Analyses amplitude parameters from a centred surface profile in compliance with ISO 21920, using ISO 16610 filtering to separate roughness (Rx) from waviness (Wx).

Step Height ISO

Analyses standard step heights in compliance with ISO 5436-1:2000 section 7.1 Type A1.

Surface Texture

Analyses surface texture (also known as roughness) based on the parameters defined in ISO 25178.
